Zoho Unveils "Vani" — A Visual-First Collaboration Space
Zoho Corporation introduced Vani, a smart visual collaboration space that transforms the ideation, planning, and execution of teams. Available on October 1, 2025, Vani arrives as a visual-first space where whiteboarding, AI, workflow implementation and communication are all combined into one shared canvas.
What Is Vani?
Vani is the latest addition to Zoho's family, meant to facilitate collaboration from structured document work to open visual thinking. Teams no longer need to switch between several programs but can now think visually, compose mind maps, draw workflow and action plans in a single cohesive environment.
The platform is built on three pillars:
Visualize: Teams are able to utilize an unlimited whiteboard, mind maps, flowcharts, sketches, sticky notes, frames and diagram tools to bring ideas to life.
Collaborate: Users are able to co-work in real-time or asynchronously with contextual comments, voice notes, emoji reactions and video conferencing integrated into the platform. A "Flow" feature monitors the progression of ideas over time.
Implement: In addition to ideation, Vani provides capabilities such as the building of workflows, database tables in tables, and task management — allowing teams to begin taking action from idea to implementation without ever leaving the environment.
Structure, AI & Integrations
Part of the fundamental innovation of Vani is its Space–Zone architecture:
A Space is a master canvas or project container.
Zones are different stages, teams, or departments' sub-canvases. This structure supports parallel focused work without context loss.
Vani also includes AI capabilities: the platform automatically generates diagrams or mind maps from notes, summarizes conversation between zones or frames and helps users visualize structuring.
Deep integration with Zoho's current suite (CRM, Projects, Mail, etc.) and third-party tools enables information and workflow to move seamlessly between tools minimizing context switching and fragmentation.
Pricing & Availability
Vani is offered worldwide with a free solution that includes unlimited user onboarding. A Team plan for USD 5 a month per user is available for teams requiring additional functionality, a price point that Zoho positions as one of the lower-cost solutions in the visual collaboration marketplace.
Why Vani Matters & Competitive Context

As work is more and more hybrid and remote, the limitations of documents, chat, and slides are exposed. Zoho foresees a movement towards visual thinking: more than 60% of Gen X and Millennials have been quoted as having preference for doing work through diagrams, videos or graphical methods rather than through text alone.
With Vani, Zoho hopes to provide an end-to-end process from ideation to implementation unlike the majority of apps that drop the ball at the ideation stage or require users to switch between several apps.
Experts have seen Vani as putting Zoho in head-to-head competition with Google Workspace, Miro, and other visual collaboration tools, particularly in the small-to-mid business (SMB) market.
